PROFESSIONAL
EXPERIENCE
Ms. Hong joined Demetriou, Del Guercio, Springer & Francis, LLP as a litigation
associate in August 2006.
Ms. Hong’s areas of practice include eminent domain, land use,
environmental, real estate and business law.
She is experienced in all phases of the
litigation process, including
trials, appeals, and mediation.
While attending law school, Ms. Hong worked at the Torrance
City Attorney’s Office as certified law clerk. She gained
litigation experience while attending and assisting at trials,
hearings and mediations. Ms. Hong also drafted pleadings, briefs,
and settlement agreements and also conducted extensive legal
research for the Torrance City Attorney’s Office.
After law school, Ms. Hong served
as a judicial intern for the Honorable S. James Otero, Judge of the
United States District Court where she researched and drafted orders and
bench memoranda. She also later served as a judicial law clerk for
Judge Otero, for whom she performed extensive research and analysis
of the State and federal laws and drafted decisions.
